Let's be honest, Lydia is actually very curious about Stiles' place. She's pretty much expecting a bachelor pad. She might not be surprised to find it clean, but a person's home often tells a lot about someone's personality, and to her, Stiles can be both brilliant and erratic.

It is pretty clean, once they get in there. But there's also a lot of research on both the dining room table and the coffee table in front of the tv. And a lot of cans of red bull.

So it's...interesting.

The Red Bull doesn't surprise her in the slightest. She isn't even entirely sure Stiles sleeps. Like...ever.

The research though, that she's unable to resist picking up a few pages of to take a glance at.

There's a lot of it. Medical research for...various different departments. And students. Some papers he's helping people with. And weirdly, some books on werewolves. Go figure. "So. Dancing, or do you want something to drink?"

"Yes to both." she replies matter-of-factly. "Werewolves, huh?" There's a tilt of her head. "I wasn't aware lycanthropy was a thing for you."

He goes to the kitchen, grabs them each a beer. "I've always been curious about stuff like that."

She'll take her beer and indulge in a sip, licking her lips before gazing back down at the research paperwork. "Why?"

While awaiting his answer, she looks around a little. MP3 dock or other such device with which music is produced anywhere to be found?

There is, in fact, an mp3 dock right beside the TV and the Roku box. And an impressive array of video games and video game machines. "Why not? It's interesting." And, if true, maybe useful.

"Are you now, or have you ever been a werewolf?" she asks blithely, taking a moment to scroll through his mp3 options. There's a soft ah as she finds a selection and sets it up to play. The Plain White T's begin to play as she steps up to him, expression expectant. She's waiting to see what he's going to do.

"Not ever." Which doesn't...really mean he doesn't know any. But. He's apparently not going to volunteer that information, for the moment. He is, however, going to take her by the hand and try to dance with her. Woo, dance party.

That's alright. Lydia's not even in I'm something! mode yet. She does however, let him take her by the hand, and let herself get wheeled about to be danced with. Whether he's good or bad, whether his feet end up on on her toes or not, it's really hard to avoid smiling as they dance...and she doesn't avoid it at all.

He tries very hard to keep off her toes, and probably mostly succeeds. Hooray! Once the song is over, he grins at her. "Another dance, or are you hungry?"

She blinks in surprise. "Were you planning to cook for me? Or is this a metaphor?"

"No, I figured maybe we could order a pizza. But I mean, it could be a metaphor." Ha, ha?

[lefthandedgenius]

"Depends on what you think the metaphor is." She's actually still got her arms around him from that dance. She does not want to make of him at times, but still wouldn't prefer being any other place right now.

He thinks about it. "That is a good and possibly dirty question." He hmmmmmms.

[lefthandedgenius]

"Oh no," she says firmly, "It is absolutely a dirty question." She tilts her head at him, a thought suddenly occurring to her. "So I'm going to ask you something and I don't want you to take it the wrong way."

"Ohkaaaay." Tilting his head as well, and watching her. "What's up?"

"You've done this before...haven't you?"

He snorts. "Do you know Malia Tate?" He's not sure anyone really actually does.

[lefthandedgenius]

"Kind of." Only kind of. Her brows lift. No judging! "Okay, then." Well, maybe a little judging.

"So. Pizza. Possibly metaphorical."

"Possibly metaphorical, possibly real. Possibly both." It's a mystery!

[lefthandedgenius]

"Go ahead and order pizza. But if it gets cold, that's not my fault."

She goes to flop on his couch. She's still in her scrubs, and stretches out on it while watching him.

"Cold pizza is the best pizza," he points out. His opinion, anyway. He grabs his phone and then goes to flop down beside her on the couch. "What toppings, and if you say sausage I will laugh at you for an entire thirty seconds."

She shifts, resting on her side and sort of leaning into him. "Pepperoni." she decides, "And mushrooms. Unless you don't like mushrooms. But pepperoni is non-negotiable."

Is it cruel of her to start playing connect-the-dots with his moles using the tip of her finger while he's trying to talk on the phone?
