History:

Stiles' Wiki
The Nogitsune Wiki

Personality:

Stiles is sarcastic, and funny. Or, at least, Stiles thinks that he's funny.  Whether or not anyone else holds that same opinion, well.  That's anybody's guess.  In general, Stiles tends to talk much too much fast, fast enough that sometimes he'll end up sticking his foot in his mouth and have to backtrack to save face or keep a lie seeming like the truth. And has, in the past, had to lie to keep someone from discovering the truth about the supernatural occurances in his town.  To protect his friends. His family.

Stiles is also very, very smart. He's only in high school, but he's pretty well able to work his way through supernatural mysteries, bestiaries and lore among other topics generally considered overcomplicated for high school kids. Like how to kill a werewolf. Or how to protect your home against supernatural invasion.  Or what a darach is.

Not only does he talk too much, but he's loud. Amazingly loud and fast, when he talks. As if he needs to fill every empty space or pause with words, and fidgets and twitches. Stiles has an extreme case of ADHD, and he takes Adderall‎ for it. Sometimes? He takes too much Ritalin for it. Usually this is an attempt to avoid sleeping. Especially after the past few months, which have been full of night terrors that he's had trouble being really that aware that he's awake from.

Stiles isn't one for respecting personal boundaries, which is fine with his friends (usually) and yet not so fine with people who are not his friends. This is probably due to his mother's death, and his odd sort of close-but-not-really relationship with his father. A way of keeping the people he cares about close, and seeing who cares enough about him to not pull away.

He doesn't have many friends, outside of his social group of Scott, Allison, Lydia and Issac. But he has them, and they have him. They're family.

Or at least they were, until he became fully possesed by the Nogitsune.

An offshoot of the Kitsune, the Nogitsune feeds on chaos, strife and pain. It is also a trickster, which means it's very good at fooling people that it doesn't exist and that it had moved on when in reality, it's planning to cause more strife, pain and chaos.

It's a very hungry creature.

If Stiles is twitchy and frantic in his movements on his own, it's somehow even worse when he's possessed. As if his body is trying to shake something loose from inside him, perhaps. Some of his movements are even fox-like. Slow movements of his fingers on things, as if he's feeling for items that will make noise and alert someone to his presence.

The Nogitsune is fond of riddles, and will use them to trick people. The Nogitsune can manipulate people into seeing what it wants them to see, or hearing what it wants them to hear. One example would be when it was trying to convince Stiles' father to save him from Chris Argent, and in the same breath trying to convince Chris Argent to kill him. Neither of them seemed to hear what he was telling the other man.

Why do you think your character would work in this setting?

Unlike most of my other characters, I think Stiles would've come unwillingly. Stiles wouldn't have left Scott and his friends behind, unless he thought coming here was the only way to get rid of the Nogitsune, and he's not exactly in control of his own body. The Nogitsune wants to feed on chaos, on strife and pain. It was doing that pretty well back in Beacon Hills, so the best way for him to get here would be through the hopper, unwillingly.

How would he react to the setting? Well, I think that after taking a look at the backlogs on a public TC, he would've seen great potential for feeding here. Everything that can go wrong seems to eventually go wrong in New Dodge, and that's plenty for him to feed on.

I suspect that being a goddess,  Mae would intrigue the Nogitsune a little bit. That and all the magic.

Inventory:

Since he's coming unwillingly, it'd just be the things he had on hand. Which are the clothes on his back, keys, a few books on World War II, a few chess pieces, some amphetimines, Adderall‎, a small jar of live black flies and a power drill. All of this is carried in a backpack, other than his clothes.
