When Inari gives a kitsune something to do, it has to be done. A Nogitune had been loosed on Beacon Hills and Charlie, who was only 17 years old, was sent to make sure her troublesome cousin really was gone. They were tricksters. He could have faked his demise.

Hello, Beacon Hills. There's a new girl sitting in the cafeteria, sort of half-assedly picking at a peanut butter and jelly sandwich she had literally no interest in. Instead, she was reading some book by Stephen King about a clown alien monster thing and even that didn't seem all that exciting.

This...wasn't going to be easy if she keeps getting bored.

He certainly could have faked his demise, but did he? Harder to say. Judging by the way that Stiles is piling away that plate of curly fries, it's unlikely. But then again, a trickster is a trickster.

Still, that doesn't mean he doesn't notice people who are quite obviously watching him while pretending not to. That'd be silly. "Stephen King, huh?"

Yeah, she needs to work on that. She can just say it's because he's cute, which he is. But he'd been the one possessed, so he is of course a huge source of concern.

Still, her smile is actually friendly. There's no faking it there. She looks at the cover of her book and then gives a shrug.

"It's not my norm, honestly. It kinda....he gets long winded and it's boring." She puts the book down, sticking a pencil in as a bookmark.

"I'm more a Clive Barker person."

"He's a little gruesome for me." His life is a little gruesome for him. "New?"

To each their own. She doesn't mind the gruesome. She thinks it's stupid as heck. She extends her hand with another smile and a nod.

"Yeah. Just started here a couple days ago. I'm Charlie."

Staring for a moment, then a handshake. Why not. "Stiles."

"Nice to meet you," Charlie says honestly. So far, he seems okay. But, she has to ask. "So...why the hesitation?"

"The hesitation?"

"You sort of stared at me for a second before shaking my hand," Charlie says with a small shrug. "It's not a big deal, honestly. I guess I was just concerned. For all I know, there are already weird rumors that I'm a horrible person or something."

"If there are, I haven't heard them. But I wouldn't really know."

"Not a fan of the rumor mill?" Because that's a good quality for a person to have.

"Not a part of the rumor mill." Is that still a good quality?

That is also a fabulous quality.

"Good to hear, Stiles." Very good to hear.

"So, tell me about you? What year are you in? Maybe we've got a class or two together." More like three. She already checked.

"Junior. What about you?"

"Same." It's what she tested in as, which works for her. She doesn't want to finish the year before she finishes what she's here to do.

"Hey, random and probably lame question. I just moved here from out of state and know literally nothing about town. Mind giving me a tour sometime?"

"A tour of Beacon Hills?" Perplexed look. "That won't take that long, you know."

Teen Wolf. HA HA.

I still know jack shit about this fandom, and it's kind of on purpose at this point. I see him as being an entity that can be summoned. Tricky when it comes to contracts, still, but less dagger + Dark One sillyness and more "powerful magic that usually comes at prices people don't want to pay." He won't make contracts with children and is especially likely to fuck someone over if they're not nice to children. He's mistaken for a djinn of some sort by people with less education.

I am unsure if that means it's something you'd want to rp, or....?

Unless he was a direct transplant from OUAT and just in a world he'd never been in before, I don't think I'm comfortable enough with the fandom (knowing nothing about it) to navigate him successfully in there.
