[Her coming over has been a help to him too. It's been something new to focus on while he's tried to 'get over' everything that happened with the nogitsune.

It's been difficult, to say the least. But she's helped. A lot.

He's been awake for a little while, watching her sleep and still dozing a little himself. Eventually, he smiles and caaaarefully pokes her in the shoulder.]

Morning.

[tippytoes]

[ Her eyes flutter open at the touch, slowly at first, blinking away the stray beams of light coming in through his window. She smiles at him, hugging him closer. ] Morning. I didn't wake you up last night coming in, did I?

[Arms around her, then.]

Nope. I wouldn't have minded, though.

[tippytoes]

You looked really tired. [ She normally does wake him up, after all. ] And we're going shopping, right? So you should be rested. Lydia told me once that going shopping is like going to war. So we need to be prepared.

We are! And I'm pretty well rested. She is not wrong. Some of those malls are battlegrounds. And big.

[tippytoes]

[ She squirms out of his grasp, then, stopping at the edge of his bed only long enough to pull her sock back up. She stands, turns to face him, and bounces on her tiptoes. ] Nothing we can't handle, right?

[ ....Right!? ]

Right! We may need to bring a bat. [He's kidding!]

[tippytoes]

[ It takes her a second to realize that he's joking, and she huffs, reaching for his arm and tugging him off the bed. ] Come on, let's go!

[To the jeep!]

Anything you want to get, besides uh...what we're getting?

[tippytoes]

[ She does, at least, have the decency to wait for him to get dressed before she drags him outside. Even if she impatient through it. ] I stole dad's credit card, so whatever we want.

He won't mind that?

[tippytoes]

[ She just shrugs. ] He never notices when I'm gone or when I'm there, so he won't notice this.

I'm sure he notices. Maybe he doesn't know what to say?

[tippytoes]

He's had plenty to say already. [ Malia screws up her face, pulls on her boots. ] Are we gonna go or are we gonna talk about my dad?

[Peck on her cheek!]

Let's go.

[tippytoes]

[ He doesn't push her. It's nice. Malia doesn't get along with her dad, not since he carted her off to the nuthouse, and Stiles lets her move at her own pace with it, unlike her therapist or pretty much anyone else. It's nice. She grins at him and heads for the jeep, taking a detour through the kitchen to grab an apple on her way out. She tosses one his way, once they're outside. ] So what other kind of stores are there?

[He grins at her, biting the apple and opening up the car.]

Books. Electronics. Video games. Candles!

[tippytoes]

Candles? [ Like. Just candles?

She climbs in, puts her seatbelt on. ]

Yeah, like you can make your own candles.

[tippytoes]

Can we?!

[useofcuriosity]

Sure, if you want to.

[tippytoes]

Kira said something about a... sin-uh-bun, too? Can we do that?

Oh, I love Cinnabon. Yeah, we can do that. And pretzels!

[tippytoes]

[ She's kind of bouncing in her seat a little, now. ] Awesome!

We can get some fries in a cup too.
