She shifts onto her side, watching him carefully. Her arm extends across his waist some, free arm going under her head. She was feeling unsettled by this, unsure of how to proceed.
"How do you know?" She worries this is a stupid or annoying question. But this is all outside of her range of understanding, even with her experiences with the Nogitsune. She doesn't know what that's like, having something like him floating around in her head.
He tries to think of how to explain it. Without sounding crazy or like he should be back in Eichen House. "It's...I don't know. It's a feeling. I can feel it. Feels...weird."
"Maybe. I certainly hope that's all it is," Charlie says softly. "I think you need to get some more rest, okay? I love you and I'll be right here when you wake up." Provided they don't kick her out.
"Derek's mother too, from what I've heard." Lydia says. "But I haven't seen him do it yet." Maybe she will never will.
"Why do we stay here, Stiles? Why don't we just go back to Beacon Hills and take Charlie with us? If the nogitsune is still there, we know how to get rid of it."
"I will. You get some rest. We'll talk about what you remember when you're a bit better, okay?" And she'll be right here. She's already decided she may stubbornly refuse to leave and hopes Allison, at the very least, understands.
"And what happens when the six months are up? Yours will come before mine will." She doesn't want to ask, to seem like she's hanging onto him, but he could go home before her, and she doesn't want to be stuck here by herself.
"And what comes after this? More human sacrifices? Another Alpha Pack? Jaguars?" All those words? Wearing him out. "I want Scott here. My dad, here. Even Issac."
She can see it's stressing him, making him tired. "Okay." she says, "We'll - we'll talk about it later. You need to rest. Do you want me to go get Charlie?"
[ Frances had to stay away when it was happening. She could feel too much. No, she instead retreated to her shrine. She prayed. The cast. She waited for the sound of the beetle. And when all was done she knew when she needed to visit. So there she is, looking as though she hasn't slept in days and cried for far too many of them. ]
